About this tour
The Mountain of Seven Colors, also called Vinicunca, is one of the most visited natural attractions in Peru and has been rated by National Geographic magazine as one of the 100 places to see before you die. The mountain of 7 colors is located 100km. southeast of the city of Cusco, on a summit located at 5,100 meters above sea level. In addition, the mountain is located at the foot of the Nevado Ausangate, which is the largest in Cusco and considered the protector of the region. This mountain was once surrounded by ice, so its discovery is a recent sensation.
Itinerary
In this program we will visit one of the new natural attractions of Cusco “The mountain of 7 colors”. The tour starts early in the morning, we will pass by the Tupackers hostel at 04:00 and 04:30 am. To travel by car for approximately two hours to the south, to reach the district of Cusipata – Paucarpata where we can have breakfast, then travel by car 1 hour more to reach the checkpoint and start the walk, the walk will last approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, we will observe the flora and fauna typical of the Andes, among which highlights the presence of Llamas and Alpacas, to reach the viewpoint of Vinicunca or Mountain of Colors (5080 m.a.s.l.)

After lunch we will start our return trip to Cusco, arriving between 4 and 5 in the afternoon. The last stop will be near the Plaza de Armas of Cusco.
