About this tour

Another different way to enjoy Cusco is doing adventure tourism, you can visit places in the Sacred Valley in ATVs, here you also have the option to enjoy the incredible country of mountains and lagoons that accompany the Sacred Valley.

Itinerary

Moray and salt mines of Maras – Midday

Pick up at your hotel at 7am or 1pm approx
Cusco to Cruzpata by bus: 50 minutes
In Cruzpata, our guide will give you a 10-minute training
Cruzpata to Moray by ATV — 2 hours approx.
Guided tour of the Inca archaeological complex of Moray for about 15 minutes
Moray to Cruzpata by ATV 2 hours approx.
Cruzpata to Salineras de Maras by vehicle, 45 minutes approx. — In this one we will see the snow-capped peaks of Verónica and Chicón
Guided tour of the salt mines of Maras for about 30 minutes
Return from the Salineras to the city of Cusco by vehicle
You will be back in Cusco at 1pm or 7pm approx. It will depend on your departure time in Cusco
This tour ends two blocks from the Plaza de Armas of Cusco.

Huaypo lagoon and Maras salt mines – Midday

Pick up at your hotel at 7am or 1pm approx.
Cusco to Cruzpata by bus: 50 minutes
In Cruzpata, our guide will give you a 10-minute training
Cruzpata to the Huaypo lagoon by ATV: This lagoon offers a unique natural beauty for its flora, fauna and landscape
On this route we will also see the snow-capped peaks of Verónica and Chicón
Return from the Salineras de Maras to the city of Cusco by bus
You will be back in Cusco at 1pm or 7pm approx. It will depend on your departure time in Cusco
This tour ends two blocks from the Plaza de Armas of Cusco

To visit Moray you will need for 70 Soles per person – approx. $21. Moray is part of the Cusco Tourist Ticket, this ticket can be purchased in the city of Cusco or at the tourist attraction (the same day of the tour).
Additionally you will need a ticket for the Salineras de Maras (salt mines), the cost is 15 Soles for foreigners and 10 Soles for Peruvians, you can buy it the same day of the tour in the same attraction

What to Bring?

Bring local currency in cash to buy the Tourist Ticket and the entrance to the Salt Mines – Dollars or cards are not accepted.
Appropriate clothing (remember that you are going to get it very dirty).
